Giving to the Department

Gifts to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at CSU Chico have a very real impact on students, faculty, and our program. Many of our current and former students have benefited greatly from the generosity of donors. Their success stories can be found on the Department's Alumni Page.

Although gifts can be designated for a variety of needs, contributions to the following funds have an especially high impact on students:

(1) Chemistry Summer Research Institute (CSRI) Fund

Helps pay for for student stipends and chemical reagents necessary for 10 weeks of summer research.

(2) Student Travel Fund

Helps pay for student travel to national meetings where they can present the results of their research.
