Photo of sisters Marcella Ohm Breidenbach and Earlyne Ohm

Sisters Earlyne Ohm, 90, and Marcella Ohm Breidenbach, 88, visited their alma mater, Chico State, on March 11, 2014 (Marcella’s birthday). Earlyne (in photo, left) graduated in 1944 with an AB in Spanish and minors in English and French. She was a member of Alpha Mu Gamma and Fleur De Lis. Marcella graduated in 1947 with a BA in human biology and was also a member of Fleur De Lis.

Earlyne worked in the San Francisco area and later in the Redding area as a medical secretary for many years. She now lives in Red Bluff.

Marcella (in photo, right) also worked in the San Francisco area as a medical secretary. After her marriage, she moved to Iliff, Colorado, where she and her husband, Stephen, raised their seven children while farming sugar beets, corn, and alfalfa with a cattle operation. They still live there after 64 years of marriage.
