Forensic anthropology graduate student Martha Diaz spent several weeks in summer 2016 interning at the Pima County Medical Examiner's Office and the Colibri Center for Human Rights in Tucson, Arizona, to identify the remains of border crossers who died during their journeys crossing into the United States from Mexico.
