Student Placement Agreement

A Student Placement Agreement between the University and a community organization is required for these activities:

• Civic engagement
• Service learning

A Student Placement Agreement between the University and a community organization is not required for these activities:

• Field trips
• Field experiences
• Internships observations
• Practicums
• Student teaching
• Volunteering

In order for a student to be placed with an organization as a service learning student, a current, signed Student Placement Agreement with the University must be in place. A list of organizations with which an agreement is currently in effect is available, however, if your organization is not on the list please read the Student Placement Agreement (PDF) carefully. An authorized signature is required on page 6.
