Graduate Degree Overview

The Masters of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders is accredited by the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association's Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech/ Language Pathology (CAA). Recipients of this degree are qualified to apply for licensure by the State of California and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. The Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential (CRS) in Language, Speech and Hearing Services is also offered. This credential allows the holder to serve in the public schools as a Language, Speech, and Hearing Specialist.
