Jennifer Meadows awarded a NATPE Faculty Fellowship

January 23, 2007

For the second time, Jennifer Meadows has been awarded a National Association of Television Programming Executives (NATPE) faculty fellowship.  NATPE is an international organization centered on the development, distribution and creation of television content across all platforms.  Fellowship winners go to the annual NATPE conference and attend special educational sessions with industry and government leaders as well as the regular NATPE convention sessions.  The NATPE convention is the largest television programming marketplace in the United States and attendees also get to walk the floor and learn about new programming being bought and sold.  This is where Wheel of Fortune, Oprah, Dr. Phil, and Entertainment Tonight got their start.  This is also where network programming such as Seinfeld and Scrubs is sold for syndication.  The event was held in Las Vegas in January 2007.
