Wolfe Named to Lantis Professorship

Professor Byron Wolfe (Department of Communication Design) was selected for a Lantis Professorship for 2009. The award will allow him to continue his studies of landscape change through rephotography of famous images of important landmarks. Specifically he is documenting geographic changes in the Guatemalan countryside since Eadweard Muybridge’s nineteenth century photographs. His work reveals environmental change and promotes environmental literacy.
