B.S. in Exercise Physiology

The B.S. in Exercise Physiology is intended to provide students with in-depth study of the physiological bases of human physical performance. In addition to the required courses in the major, many students who complete this option take additional courses in biology and chemistry especially if pursuing a Pre-Professional emphasis. Students in this option also may choose to complete the Certificate in Sport and Human Performance. Students who complete this option are qualified to sit for various professional certifications, such as those offered through the American College of Sports Medicine or the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
