Lesson Study For Teachers
Want to teach more science?
Tired of planning and teaching in isolation?
Observe live lessons in 4th or 5th grade science in the Hands-on Lab at CSU, Chico.
The California Science Project of Inland Northern California (CSP-INC) will host lesson study introductory workshops in the Hands-on Lab.
There are three different ways you can participate in this program. You may attend any of these options, or all if you would like.
There is no cost for the lesson study program and substitute reimbursement for participating teachers is available for a limited number of school teams attending.
Workshop Options
Choose from any of the lab options listed for the Hands-On Lab: Magnetism, Electricity, Matter, Water, Digestion, Photosynthesis.
Times
All options will be taught at 11:30 a.m. and the introduction to lesson study will take place from 12:30-2:30 p.m., with lunch provided. Days contingent upon workshop chosen.
Lesson Study Teams
Get together with a team from your school or district, pick a subject from the lab options and contact us. It’s that easy!
