Programs in progress

There are many new professional development opportunities in mathematics for teachers in the northstate.

Mathematics in the EArly Grades (MEG)

This is a three-year program of workshops, coaching, and collaboration available to Pre K - 2nd grade teachers from Cascade, Red Bluff, and Orland Unified School Districts. Additional information and applications are available here.

Mathematics Professional Learning Communities (MPLC)

This three-year program is open to teachers in Butte County schools, grades 3-7. Topics covered will be aimed at developing algebraic thinking in the K-7 curriculum and proportional reasoning across the content areas.
