Hands-On Science Lab
Classroom Field Trips to the Hands-On Science Lab with a special focus on 4th - 6th grade science standards.
The lab experiences are fun and engaging, active-learning experiments in chemistry, biology, and physical science. They are offered by university students studying science and education and are held in an actual laboratory on the CSU, Chico campus.
Our standard labs last 90 minutes and are offered Wednesday through Friday at 9:15am-10:45am, and 11:15am-12:45pm. The cost is $40 per class.
A special week of labs is being offered the week of 11/16-20/09 for 6th grade ONLY. The times vary by the day, but are generally available from 9am-11am and 11am-1pm. The lab is appropriate for 6th grade only and will be focused on seasons.
Maximum class size is 36 students unless otherwise approved. View a current list of labs being offered.
