Support Group Forms for No. 1 New Year's Resolution

CHICO — With the new year and resolutions still fresh in everyone's mind, staff at OPT for Fit Kids has formed a group to support adults who want to eat better and get more fit. It's called OPT for Fitness support group.

Students Play Squash With Their Taste Buds

CHICO -- Maybe squash isn't a teenager's favorite food, but most of the students in Dave Teja's class at Chico High School tried it Friday afternoon anyway.

Alana Nohrden offered the squash — three varieties, along with two dipping sauce choices — as part of a weekly nutrition class she's teaching this semester.
