Active Play Time
By encouraging active play from the get go, you are laying the foundation for a healthy active lifestyle. Shift away from the using the term physical activity and focus on active play time instead. Its never to early to start! Here are some tips to get your little ones active:- Give babies tummy time can practice gain the neck and back strength to start cruising.
- Give babies plenty of time on a blanket to reach, stretch, scoot and explore their surroundings.
- Take infants and toddler for walks. Even if they're not walking, they're exploring the outdoors.
- Join a play group. Check out our community calendar for groups in your community.
- Turn off the TV and Tune into Life.
