The Bike Kitchen is a pedal powered, electrical assist, demonstration kitchen. It was designed in 2011 to provide cooking demos at "inconvenient locations" meaning in the field sites without access to water or electricity. The Bike Kitchen is equipped with stoves, fresh and waste water tanks, hand wash sink and double prep sink, counters, refrigerator, water heater and supplies for demonstrating how to prepare fruits and vegetables. It also sports a mirror for larger audiences to see detailed hand work. Typical venues for the Bike Kitchen are school sites, farmers markets, community gardens, and faires.
