How to Dial on campus

Local Calls:

1. Dial the last 4 digits for CNS customers / University
2. 9 + telephone number for all other calls.

Long Distance Calls:

1. Dial 9 + 1 + (area code) + telephone number
   (when dialing within the 530 area code do not dial 1 or area code)
2. At the tone, enter your IAC

International Calls:

1. Dial 9 + 011 + country code + city code + telephone number
2. At the tone, enter your IAC (Call CNS for rate information)

Calling Card Calls:

1. Dial 9 + 0 + (area code) + telephone number
2. At the tone, enter you IAC
3. At the second tone, enter your complete calling card number.
4. Or, follow the directions on the back of your calling card.
5. At the tone, enter your IAC

800 / 888 / 877 / 866 Numbers:

1. Dial 9 + 1 + (800 / 888 / 877 / 866) + telephone number
2. At the tone, enter your IAC

Note: not all 800 / 888 / 877 / 866 numbers are toll-free.
