Service Projects

The major service project adopted by CSU-CNSA is the Wings of Eagles Thanksgiving Food Basket drive. Wings of Eagles is a local nonprofit organization established in memory of Joseph Alvarez, and dedicated to helping families with seriously ill children. Through the generosity of donors, contributions, and class competition CSU-CNSA was able to collect, assemble, and deliver thirty-five generous food baskets to Wings-of-Eagles families this past Thanksgiving.

In the course of their clinical rotations chapter members are encouraged to identify and report community or client needs that CSU-CNSA can possibly help resolve. CSU-CNSA was able to locate and purchase a used wheelchair for this client who was in much need of a new set of wheels.
