Pre–requisite and Core Classes for Business Information System Majors
Students are considered Pre-Business Information Systems majors when they begin their work on a Chico State undergraduate degree in Business Information Systems. Students can declare Business Information Systems major (BIS Status) after completion of MATH 107, MATH 105/ MATH108/BADM 103, and ENGL 130 with a “C” grade or better in each of those classes. To earn an undergraduate degree in Business Information Systems, BIS majors complete courses specific to a BIS “option” (concentrated area of study) and all lower–division and upper-division core courses listed below.
