Advice and Service
Chico State Business Alumni serve on advisory councils in the college and throughout the campus. Working with the dean and department chairs, they help identify and execute strategies that distinguish Chico State as one of the most well-respected business schools in Northern California. While making significant contributions of time and treasure to support the college, these talented and dedicated alumni benefit from networking with other business executives who share their professional success and a passion for Chico State.
The Business Advisory Board members work with the dean to provide an external perspective on organizational issues, marshal financial resources, and extend the organization’s outreach. Members sponsor initiatives and events that align with the mission of the college and provide critical resources needed to move the college’s ambitious agenda forward.
The Center for Entrepreneurship Advisory Board, composed of local entrepreneurs and economic development professionals, provides advice and support for services and programs associated with the college’s Center for Entrepreneurship.
Members of the Business Industry Council and Marketing Advisory Board work with the department chairs to identify industry trends, global issues, and partnership opportunities that could have an impact on the business curriculum and co-curricular activities offered to Chico State students.
