Teaching/Research
Dr. Mensching joined the CSU, Chico business faculty in 1991, teaching in both the Management Information Systems and Accounting areas since that time. He has received three outstanding faculty member awards and has been very active in cooperative research projects at CSU, Chico, completing projects with several major corporations including IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP and Deloitte & Touche. Many of these projects have led to publications in academic and professional journals including; Journal of Computer Information Systems, Information Technology and Management, Enterprise Information Systems Journal, Journal of Information System Education, The Accounting Educator’s Journal, and Advances in Accounting Information Systems. Jim is also the author of three textbooks in the information systems area.
