Teaching/Research
Since joining the CSU, Chico business faculty in 1983, Dr. Indvik has taught a variety of courses in Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, and Management, including Assessing New Business Opportunities; Managing Personal Success; Human Resource Management; Managing Differences; Communication in Business; Managing People, Processes, and Change; Small Group Dynamics; International Management; Business Communication for Managers (MBA); Seminar in Leadership; Organizational Behavior; Organizational Consulting. She has been recognized by her peers on numerous occasions, receiving four awards for teaching and more than 15 awards and honors for research quality and productivity. She served as the Allied Academies of Management Fellow and was a recipient of the College of Business Outstanding Faculty Award.
Dr. Indvik has published more than 40 articles in a variety of journals, including the Journal of Organizational Culture, Communications, and Conflict; Journal of Management Development; Public Personnel Management; Academy of Managerial Communications Journal; Journal of Workplace Learning; Journal of Managerial Psychology; and International Journal of Career Management.
