Teaching/Research
Dr. Chapman teaches a variety of marketing courses, including Marketing Research and Consumer Behavior. He has published his research in a variety of journals, including The Journal of Marketing Education, Educational Research, Journal of Education for Business, International Journal of Educational Management, Journal of Management Education, Journal of Information Technology Cases and Applications, Journal of Political Marketing, Journal of Psychology and Marketing, and Journal of Consumer Marketing.
Dr. Chapman has also been involved in a number of research-oriented consulting projects, including Cytomax Energy Drinks (data analysis, research used in promotional campaigns), the California Integrated Waste Management Board (a $1.5 million project involving focus groups, statewide telephone survey, key informant interviews), Win River Casino (focus groups, telephone survey, in-depth interviews), Health Metrics, Inc. (patient satisfaction survey and data analysis), City of Waltham, MA (economic impact and tourism survey), and King Sooper’s Supermarket chain (attitude and satisfaction survey).
