Teaching/Research
At CSU, Chico since 1986, Dr. Siegall has taught courses in several areas of management, communications, organization design, and leadership. He has authored or co-authored articles on teaching, stress, and motivation, and a textbook in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. In addition to his teaching and research, he serves on the editorial boards of two journals, is an invited reviewer for other publications, and reviews submissions to the annual meetings of several professional societies – having won an award for the quality of this work. Dr. Siegall has served in multiple capacities on the campus’ Academic Senate, including two terms as Senate Chair. He has served as the Chair of the Department of Management, and as Associate Dean and Interim Dean for the College of Business. He has the distinction of being the only faculty member of the campus’ WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) Reaccreditation Steering Committee. His current passion is helping students develop more effective studying and learning habits, habits that will pay off throughout their college careers and beyond.
