Teaching/Research
An adjunct faculty member since 2006, Barton teaches Communication in Business. A nationally known presenter, she has trained thousands of teachers and administrators across the United States and Canada in content-area reading and writing instruction. The books she has co-authored on literacy have been best-sellers published by the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. She has also authored numerous articles on curriculum and instruction, literacy, and learning.
