Teaching/Research
After spending many years in a corporate accounting environment, Ms. Jones joined the CSU, Chico business faculty in 1999. She teaches a variety of classes in the areas of Accounting Information Systems, Management Accounting, and Small Business Management. She was honored in 2007 with the College of Business Teaching Excellence Award. Her primary research interests are in small businesses, information systems, ethics, and improved teaching tools/techniques. She has published case studies in SAP’s Innovation Watch, the AISE Journal ( “Using a Purchase to Payment Case Study to Illustrate Segregated Duties in an ERP Environment”), and the 2007 AIS Conference Proceedings ( “Directing AIS Education toward the Small Business Manager”).
