Teaching/Research
Dr. Gardiner joined the CSU, Chico business faculty in 2002. Since that time, he has taught a variety of courses in Supply Chain Management and Management Information Systems. He currently teaches and serves as course coordinator for SCMS 306, Operations Management. He also teaches teaches BSIS 420 Enterprise Resource Planning: Systems Configuration and Use.While on the faculty of Auburn University, Dr Gardiner served as director of the SAP University Alliance and was named SAP Scholar for Production Planning. His research in the Theory of Constraints, Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Resource Planning and Production Planning and Control has appeared in Journal of Operations Management, International Journal of Production Research, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Production and Inventory Management Journal, Quality Engineering, Production Planning and Control, Industrial Management, Database Management, International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management, International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management and International Journal of Purchasing and Materials Management.
