Teaching/Research
Dr. Zivnuska joined the CSU, Chico business faculty in 2006. She currently reaches a variety of courses in human resource management, providing her students with real-world skills, incorporating ERP exposure and pro-bono consulting for community organizations into her upper-division and graduate courses. Prior projects have focused on companies such as Marriott, Pizza Hut, the SPCA, and Meals on Wheels. Dr. Zivnuska is an active researcher and has published articles and book chapters on performance appraisals, impression management, organizational politics, and work-family balance. Her work has appeared in many well-respected journals, including Human Relations, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Leadership Quarterly. Dr. Zivnuska has served as a consultant for clients in the areas of health care, high tech, and hospitality.
