Option in Accounting
The Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with an option in Accounting provides students with the opportunity to focus on Professional Accounting or Corporate Financial Management. The Professional Accounting curriculum meets the requirements for students who want to enter career paths desiring CPA (Certified Public Accountant) status. Many Chico Professional Accounting students work for national, regional or local public accounting firms or for government agencies such as the IRS or California Franchise Board. The Corporate Financial Management pattern prepares students for staff accounting positions in large to medium sized corporate settings where CPA status is not required.
