Elevator Pitch Contest | November 16, 2016
Ready. Set. Pitch! The fall 2016 Chico State Elevator Pitch Contest is now open for submissions from all currently enrolled students at CSU, Chico. This is your chance to air the best business idea with a chance for prize money, great advice, and even future investment.
Elevator Pitches, of course, are short – about the time it takes to go up to the top of Butte Hall (90 seconds). We are limiting the contest to first fifty contestants. Please see the guidelines (link below) for all cutoff dates.

Entrepreneurship Competitions and Events
Looking to make your business concept a reality? Our business concept competitions aim to challenge students and gain real-world opportunities and skills.
The Center for Entrepreneurship is deeply concerned with the world outside our borders as well as within. Part of the Center’s mission is to spread the idea of entrepreneurship beyond the traditional forms of business and into new realms where students can make a difference in the world.
Chico State is one of the few universities in the country to have startup funds available for its students to help fund their businesses. Support in the range of $5,000-$10,000 is available in the form of a convertible note.
Clubs & Organizations
Get involved by joining a student organization. The Chico Entrepreneurial Association (CEA), and Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) are two highly recognized entrepreneurial organizations at Chico State.
