Looking for an additional fun challenge?

Take part in one of our professional sales competitions! Competitions will push your personal and professional development to new levels. Not only will these competitions help refine your professional sales skills and knowledge, they will also help you get noticed by recruiters. Students in the Seufferlein Sales Program have the opportunity to participate in the Sweet 16 Sales Challenge, Spring 12 Competition and the Western States Collegiate Sales Competition.

Corporate Involvement

Overview

The Sweet 16 Sales Challenge is a local sales competition that takes place during the fall semester. The competition is open to all students taking MKTG 473 (Strategic Personal Selling).  During the semester, students compete in a series of role plays that utilize cases provided by Corporate Partners. In early December, the top 16 students compete in a live role play event judged by corporate partners. The competition is preceded by the Sweet 16 Corporate Connect mixer and speed interviewing event.

2018 Competition Information

Overview

The Chico State Sales Invitational (CSSI) is an energetic and exciting venue for university students, faculty and corporate recruiters. Competitors are among the best sales students from Chico State and are offered the chance to showcase their skills to attending recruiters.

The Chico State Sales Invitational will be held on April 11-12, 2019.

Spring Sales Showcase

Overview

The Spring Sales Showcase will be offered twice during the spring semester. The first competition will feature students on an invitational basis. The second competition is open to all students taking MKTG 473-Strategic Personal Selling during the spring semester, where students participate in two in-class professional role plays utilizing cases provided by the Sales Program’s Corporate Partners.

2019 Competition Information

The Spring Sales Showcase will be held on February 22 and April 26, 2019.
