CSU, Chico is located in Chico, California, in the mid-northern part of
the state, approximately 160 miles NW of San Francisco, 90 miles north of
Sacramento. Here's two maps to give you a better idea: the big picture on the

To reach campus--
- From state highway 99: use the First Avenue exit and follow signs to
campus
- From Interstate 5: exit at highway 32 (Orland). Follow 32 all the
way to Chico. Hwy 32 becomes Walnut Street at mid-town. Turn left on
West Second Street to campus visitor parking (about 1/2 mile).
- From city airport (CIC): Follow Cohasset Road, main road to
airport. Cohasset turns into Mangrove after Hwy 99 overpass. Turn right on
First Avenue from Mangrove (about 1 mile). Follow signs to campus visitor
parking on Second Street.
