A co-payment of $600 for the Two Week institute or $300 for the One Week institute will be required from the school or district. (Scholarships may be available. Contact the Center for Math and Science Education for information. 530-898-4322.) Possible Co-payment funding sources:
School Improvement Programs, Lottery, AB 1725, Eisenhower, Chapter 1
** Follow-up stipends and staff development stipends are contingent upon 2002-2003 State budget approval.

Focus: Science Content in Astronomy, Teaching Strategies, Collaborative Lesson Design, and Reading and Writing in Science for English Language Development.

The California Science Project is a State Funded program designed to provide professional development in Science Education K-12. We focus on the California Science Content Standards and identify effective teaching strategies that result in conceptual understanding for all students.
