Chico Voicemail Programming Instructions
  1. Select the number of changes you would like to make and press "Update."
  2. Select whether you will need the changes as soon as possible or specify the month, day, and year you would like them completed. You must select a time between today and three months from today.
  3. Fill out the user’s first name, last name, and department.
  4. Enter the extension number where you require the change.
  5. Select whether the user will need
    • an individual box (the only user on an extension) or
    • a shared box (one out of two or more users on a single extension).
  6. Then, select if you would like to
    • add the user to the specified extension,
    • remove the user from the specified extension,
    • or move the user from the specified extension to another extension.
If you are adding a user:
      • Select whether the user current has a previous voicemail box and enter the box number if known.
      • If the user has a previous voicemail box, select whether or not you would like to move the previous voicemail box.
If you are removing a user:
      • Enter the box number of the user’s existing mailbox if known.
If you are moving a user:
      • Enter the extension you are moving to user from and the extension you are moving the user to.
