Purpose: This award honors CSU faculty who have demonstrated outstanding scientific achievement in the California State University's molecular life science and biotechnology research effort.

Eligibility: All tenured and tenure-track faculty who have been in the CSU for a minimum of 5 years. The awardee must be able to present the CSU Biotechnology Faculty Research Lecture at the CSU Annual Biotechnology Symposium on Saturday afternoon, January 12, 2008.

Award: A $750 cash prize and a framed certificate be presented at the symposium banquet on Friday, January 11, 2008.
