The primary purpose of this organization shall be to promote harmonious co-operation and interaction between the Sri Lankan student body of Chico State and the Sri Lankan communities of other universities in the US.
The organization will also be vital to maintaining a healthy relationship between the Sri Lankan student body and the university. The SLSA will also provide all help needed to new Sri Lankan students at Chico State and will make an effort to attract more Sri Lankan students in Sri Lanka and the US to attend Chico State.
