Launching a Class Session

For instructors, launching a class opens and displays the HorizonLive classroom environment with the Presenters Console. This allows the instructor to control and conduct the class content and pace.

Launching a class session can be done in two different ways: 1) from within the Class Management window; 2) and from within the Class Content window.

Launching a Class Session from within the Class Management window

1. The Class Managment window lists the classes that the instructor has priviledges to see:

2. To the right of the class title, there are a series of icons representing various tasks. These tasks correlate to Info, Preview/Publish, Launch, Tracking, and Download:

3. Click the Lauch icon to start that class.

 

Launching a Class Session from within the Class Content window

1.Inside the Class Content window, you can launch the class without going back to the Class Management window:

2. To the right of the slide information, notice a series of reddish icons (see above right).

Note: Respectively, these icons are for New Slides, Preview/Publish, Launch, Tracking Info, and to Duplicate this Class.

3. Click the Lauch icon to start that class:
