Creating and Modifying A Carousel
Understanding Carousels
Just like you add slides to a projector carousel to show off your vacation pictures, you also add HorizonLive slides to carousels. There are two carousels set up for every new class:
- The default slide carousel is named after your Class ID. This carousel will be loaded to the Presenters Console at the beginning of class.
- The second carousel is named eBoard Snapshots. Use this carousel to store the contents of your eBoard activities that are saved during a live session.
Both carousels are initially empty and cannot be erased, although any content you add can be erased. You can also add new carousels.
To Create a New Carousel
1. On the Class Management page, find the class that you want to modify and click the class name.
2. On the Classes tab, click Content. The Content page opens.
3. Click the New Carousel icon to the right of the carousel list.
The Create a New Carousel page opens:
Type a name for your carousel, using only alphanumeric characters. This name will appear in the Carousel drop-down menu in the Presenters Console.
5. Click Create. The new carousel is created and you are returned to the Content page.
