Creating A Quicktime Audio Archive

Creating a Quicktime audio archive gives you the opportunity to create a Horizon Live archive from anywhere. Make sure you have the audio input connected and working properly. In most cases, this input is a microphone.

Starting An Archive

1. Once you have launched the course you want to create an archive for, press the play button which is located on the presenter's console.

2. Once you have pressed the play button, you will be prompted with the Horizon Live encoder settings. None of these settings need to be changed. Simply press the start button located under server parameters.

3. After pressing the start button, you can minimize the Horizon Live encoder window. You will then be asked if you would like to start an archive. Click OK and your archive will begin.

4. Once you have clicked OK a window will open that tells you your session is being archive. Press close in this window and begin your archive.

 

Stopping An Archive

1. Once you have completed your session, press the stop button located in the presenter's console to stop your Horizon Live archive.

2. You will then be asked if you want to stop the archive. Click OK and the archive will stop.

3. After you press OK, another window will appear to confirm that your archive has stopped. You can close the window. Your archive has been completed.
