POSITION LOCATION:

The Associated Students
Environmental Affairs Council is looking for dedicated people willing to
spend quality time (with compensation of units) organizing, researching
and implementing environmental projects. The council works on a variety
of environmentally focused projects including: the "Green" newsletter,
composing activist letters, coordinating events, addressing A.S. Bookstore
and Food Service environmental issues, planning Earth Day events, coordinating
library and resource files, and organizing the environmental education
table.
DURATION - TERM CURRENTLY
RECRUITING FOR: Fall & Spring Semester Internship lasts for one semester.
Nine hours/week required totaling 40 or 120 hours of work time.

ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS:
Any student who wants to
dedicate their time to making a difference on campus and in the community.
Strong researching, writing and organization skills are required. ( HCSV
189-C) Two papers must be completed during the semester. Looking for motivated
people with concern for ecological issues and the care of our planet.
COMPENSATION:
Interns can earn 1-3 elective
units.
