Scholarships
With thousands of dollars worth of University scholarships offered annually through the College of ECC, as well as countless private engineering scholarships available from independent organizations, corporations, and individuals, there are many opportunities for students to offset the expenses of their education. For more information about scholarships available through the College of ECC, please stop by our College Office in OCNL 410, or call 530-898-5963.
Chico State Scholarships are administered through the CSU, Chico Financial Aid and Scholarship Office. The University Online Scholarship Application is typically available from October 1st through December 15th each year. For detailed information on all financial aid and CSU, Chico scholarships, please visit the Financial Aid Office.
There are also various scholarships available for students with a declared major in one of the programs offered by the College of ECC. Minimum requirements may include enrollment each semester as a full time student, carry a minimum of two courses offered through the College of ECC, and/or maintenance of a 3.0 GPA in university course work. Please contact your department/program office for additional information on major-specific scholarship opportunities.
Private Scholarships are offered by organizations, corporations, and individuals outside of the College of ECC. Although they are not administered by the University, many of these donors list their scholarship opportunities with our College Office.
