Economic Awards

The Department of Economics, in conjunction with the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, present the following awards to the highest achieving Economics major each spring semester.  These awards presented to the students either at spring graduation ceremonies or during the annual Economics Awards Ceremony held the week before spring graduation.  The yearly awards are:

  • Award for Outstanding Economics Major
  • Honors in the Major Awards
  • Dean's List Awards
  • Award for Academic Achievement and Service in Economics
  • John G. Smale Scholarship for Excellence in Economics (for an undergraduate Economics student)
  • John G. Smale Award for Outstanding Achievement in Economics
  • Francis Award (for an undergraduate Economics student)
