Andy Radler


Andy earned his masters degree from the University of San Francisco and his B.S. from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Andy served as a practicing economist for eight years.  Upon graduating from college, he assumed progressively challenging promotions to cities in California and Massachusetts.  As the Assistant Director of Community and Economic Development, Andy was responsible for preparing redevelopment plans, grant writing, media relations, coordination and compliance with state and federal agencies. Andy has earned nationally competitive academic fellowships to study and conduct research in Germany and Japan, including the recent award of a Fulbright. Andy also completed an academic fellowship at Amherst College, which was awarded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.  Andy is a full time Economics Instructor at Butte Community College.  He also serves as the faculty advisor to SIFE and also serves on the Master Plan, Technology and Land Use Planning Committees at Butte College.
