California faces a shortage of qualified teachers.
During the next decade, we need to find people to take on the challenging but rewarding job of teaching California's children. It's a critical necessity for us as a society and a great opportunity for you. It has been estimated that California will need to hire approximately 25,000 new K-12 teachers per year for the next decade to meet its public school needs.
Career Planning & Placement Office: The Career Planning & Placement Office assists students in identifying prospective jobs in teaching and school services.
