Getting a Job

California faces a shortage of qualified teachers.

During the next decade, we need to find people to take on the challenging but rewarding job of teaching California's children. It's a critical necessity for us as a society and a great opportunity for you. It has been estimated that California will need to hire approximately 25,000 new K-12 teachers per year for the next decade to meet its public school needs.

Career Planning & Placement Office: The Career Planning & Placement Office assists students in identifying prospective jobs in teaching and school services. The office sponsors an annual spring Education Fair. Over 120 districts and counties will be represented. We are located in MLIB 150. Please feel free to call us at (530) 898-5253.
