Library Media Services Instructor
Peter Milbury is Library Media Teacher-Library Webmaster at Chico
High School, and also an instructor in the LMT Services Credential
Program at California State University, Chico. His column, Web Pathways
of the Month, appears in the CSLA Newsletter.
Milbury is a member of the Librarians Index to the Internet (Lii.Org)
Advisory Committee, as well as the California Learning Resources
Network (CLRN) Advisory Committee, where he is also Coordinator
of CLRN Web Information Links. Milbury has served on the Computer
Education Advisory Panel for the California Commission on Teacher
Credentialing, and is currently a member of a CTC advisory panel.
He is co-founder/moderator of LM_NET, the online discussion group
for school library media professionals. He holds fellowships in
the following: Library of Congress American Memory; the SCORE History-Social
Science Project; NEH Independent Study in the Humanities; Northstate
History-Social Science Project. Milbury was Co-Director of the 1997
CA History Social Science Technology Academy. He is editorial consultant
and writer for Linworth Publishing, a contributor to several books
on school libraries and computer based technology. Milbury is a
regular presenter at state, regional and national conferences.
