Multiple Subject Program Coordinator
Dr. Mimi Miller coordinates, teaches and supervises pre-service teachers in the Multiple Subject Credential program. She received her Ph.D. in educational psychology from Stanford University in 1996. Before coming to CSU Chico, Dr. Miller taught middle school for four years in the California public schools, served for four years as a K-12 teacher educator for Project Read/Text Analysis Project at Stanford.

She currently teaches courses in reading/language arts methods and democratic education. Her professional interests include literacy instruction, curriculum integration and teacher education reform. Recent presentations include “Integrating Thematic Instruction and Democratic Practice” presented at the annual conference of the American Educational Research Association, Chicago, IL, spring 2003.
