Department Chair
Dr. Summers is the Department of Education chair. She also teaches courses in the Single Subject Credential Program.

She taught high school English and second language development for fifteen years. Her teaching and research interests include classroom management, curriculum and instruction, literacy, and technology. She is the co-director of R.I.S.E. (Resources in International Studies in Education) and consults on curriculum development for international educators.
