Call for Papers

The 12th annual English Graduate Student Council Fall Symposium at CSU, Chico is scheduled for 7 November 2012 at 6:30pm.

Creative manuscripts or papers reporting on research and development in any aspect of English language literature, language and literacy studies, and composition and rhetoric are invited for presentation. Presentations should be no more than 15 minutes in length and multimedia presentations are welcome. Scholars and artists within a field of English studies at the undergraduate or graduate level are invited to email a 250 word abstract to EGSC at the following email address by 10 October 2012: chicostateEGSC@gmail.com

Please include paper title, author’s name, status (undergraduate student, graduate student, other/scholar-at-large), institutional affiliation, and postal address at top left. Also include any technical requirements for your presentation such as PowerPoint or slide projectors. Those whose abstracts are accepted for presentation will be notified by 22 October 2012 and are expected to attend the symposium.

Abstracts will be printed in the symposium program, and papers will be considered for the spring publication of the English Graduate Student Council’s literary journal, The Erudite.
