Teacher-Research Speaker Series

Fridays, 3:30 p.m. in Taylor 210

This academic year the Writing Program is featuring a series of informal presentations in which teachers talk about the research they've been doing that is inspired by the writing classroom, broadly conceived. The audience for these talks is those who teach in the program, our English department colleagues, 30 leaders and WC assistants, and anyone across campus interested in pedagogy and general education. Our aim is to facilitate greater awareness of each other’s interests in order to stimulate and enhance our own teaching.

Spring 2007 Speakers

Date Speaker/Topic
April 13 Kim Jaxon will lead a roundtable discussion, “‘Best Practice’ to Inquiry: Making Inquiry Explicit in a National Writing Project Site”
