Paul Eggers teaches creative writing. He has a PhD from the University of Nebraska and is the author of two books (Saviors , a novel; and How the Water Feels , a collection of short stories). A former Peace Corps volunteer and UN relief worker, he writes mostly about first-world / third-world interactions.
