Andrea Lerner earned her BA in American studies from Reed College and holds graduate degrees in English from Stanford University and the University of Arizona. While she teaches the entire range of American literature, her particular teaching interests include ethnic American literature, 20th century American writers, American poetry, literary non-fiction, and inquiries on the sense of place in American literature. Her research and professional interests center on Native American studies and environmental writing.
