Invited faculty
will be comprised of publishing authors with a record of publication
and a high level of commitment to teaching and inspiring students.
Representation of a variety of styles and approaches will figure
significantly as the program capitalizes on the diversity of CSU
faculty from consortium campuses, other campuses of the CSU, and
wider communities where distinguished writers live and work.
All MFA
transcripts can be ordered through CSU, Chico School of Graduate,
International, and Sponsored Programs. Please call 530-898-6880 or
access their website at http://www.csuchico.edu/catalog/admission/records.html Students will discuss with their advisors plans for MFA degree completion, including any coursework taken from other institutions or degree programs. Download the planning checklist to assist in this process: CSU MFA Creative Writing Check List pdf. Students in the MFA Program will also be subject to the Graduate Program Requirements of CSU, Chico Graduate Students. No official advising sessions will take place during summer residencies. It is the students' responsibility to set up appointments with their advisors (via email, phone, in person) as needed throughout the year. Please make available to your advisor a current transcript prior to the advising session.
